As a pioneer of integrated plant
manufactures in Japan

安島 勲

YASUJIMA was founded as a manufacture of boilers and pressure vessels by Saburo Yasujima in April, 1950. Since inauguration, we, as a R&D oriented company, have been making effort to design and manufacture various kinds of machines to satisfy customers’ needs. Today, we are engaging in designing and manufacturing of not only boilers and pressure vessels but also vacuum plants of all sorts, which is our current main field, dryers, and sterilization machines.

In 1997, we established Central Laboratory. By utilizing a variety of test machines that we own in this facility, we have been working actively on industry-universitygovernment collaborations, new product development with customers, and proposals regarding energy conservation.

Furthermore, we built new company building in Hakusan city in March 2018 to integrate the functions of all the manufacturing factories scattered at a couple of places. Central Laboratory was renamed to Research laboratory then and we increased the number of test machines. Taking this opportunity, I renewed my resolve to make greater effort and take further challenges to develop new products based on customers’ requests and to explore new fields.
