The mechanism of Retort pouch sterilization machine

When sterilizing microorganisms, the sterilizing time can be shortened considerably by raising temperature.
By the use of pressure vessels, the time for sterilization will be further less with high temperature and high pressure.

It is capable of performing retort sterilizing of 120℃(30-60 min.), a semi-retorting of 105 to 115℃, and a high retort over 130℃.
High pressure sterilizing is conducted by filling steam into the sterilization steam cooker, after that it will be cooled with pressure.

Features of Retort pouch sterilization machine

  • The retort sterilizing goods can be distributed at room temperature because of the aseptic conditions.
  • At 100℃, it takes 400 minutes to kill spore-forming bacteria , though it takes only 4 minutes at 120℃. The deterioration by heating is much less.
  • Yasujima can design and manufacture retort sterilization machines to fit customer’s operation cycle. We can also make various type of machine forms such as tunnel types.
